Hi everyone! Welcome back to my blog! Today I’ll be talking about some fabulous fantasy (through back to my first post) books. I decided to make a part 2 mainly for two reasons:
1. I love fantasy books and will use any excuse to read them.
2. My first post was actually on fantasy book and since my one year anniversary is coming up, I thought it would be fun to recreate it!
While some of these books have been published recently while others are hidden gems in your never-ending tbr pile. Make sure to subscribe for more information about these marvelous books! Now here are the books:
- “The Treachery Of Beautiful Things” by Ruth Frances Long Confession: This book has been on my tbr for about 4 years, yikes. I know, I know, 4 years, that’s a little crazy, but luckily one day I was looking at my tbr, and this book popped up. First, the whole image of this book is just stunning. The cover, the title, the writing is just gorgeous. This book is a magical fae story, one that will leave you in awe!
Now ‘Wintersong’ is one of those books that have taken over bookstagram. I would see it all the time! Every new account I would skim upon, this book was alway somewhere in their feed. So I finally called my local library and put this book on hold, let’s just say I wasn’t disappointed. This book is Labyrinth meets Beauty and the Beast. So definitely add this book to your list because you won’t be disappointed.
If you want a good beach read then this is it! “Tempest Rising’ is a form of The Little Mermaid and The Lightning Thief combined. This book is a splash, haha! With adventure, a drama-filled love triangle, and a magical heritage. This book will surely add something different to your tbr list!
If you liked ‘The Wintersong’ by Danielle L. Jensen, then this book is the perfect next read for you. With a secret troll rebellion, a steamy romance and secrets all around, this book will surely have you hooked! I liked this book so much, that when it fell in between my lofted bed and the floor I squeezed in between my bed and the window to get it out.
Everyone knows the story of Robin Hood. Coincidently I watched the latest Robin Hood movie last night. In this book, Robin Hood meets feminism! Following Sylvie as she retells the story of Robin Hood in a different light. This book is filled with action-packed adventure and awesome women power.
If this book were an equation, it would be Mulan + The Hunger Games + Maze Runner = this book! I loved reading this book! It’s the perfect combination of dystopian and fantasy, it’s worth reading. With lots of twist and turns, this book will have you gripping the edges in anticipation!
